Director of Photography & Videography

 What you will do:

  • Shoot event photos/videos, speaker spotlights, and behind-the-scenes content.

  • Conceptualize and execute creative visual campaigns.

  • Collaborate with Editing and Social Media Directors for content alignment.

  • Maintain equipment and organize raw footage.

What we are looking for

  •  A creative individual with an eye for composition and storytelling.

  • Skilled in photography and videography with prior experience.

  • A collaborative team player who listens, adapts, and communicates well.

  • Comfortable with fast-paced environments and open to feedback.

  • Experience with DSLR/mirrorless cameras and video equipment .

  • Proficient in lighting, framing, and shooting styles for events and social media.

  • Strong understanding of short-form video (especially TikTok, Reels).

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, live-event environments.

Director of Social Media & Digital Presence

 What you will do:

  • Write captions, plan social media campaigns, and post content.

  • Manage Instagram and TikTok feeds with consistent tone and messaging.

  • Engage with followers, monitor UTSC trends, and create a strong digital voice.

  • Oversee the website and collaborate with design and photography directors.

Director of Visual Media Editing

 What you will do:

  • Edit event photography and videography for social media, website, and print.

  • Enhance visual consistency using brand-aligned presets and editing techniques.

  • Organize and deliver edited photos/videos on time to the social and web teams.

  • Collaborate closely with the Photography/Videography Director.

  • A detail-oriented visual editor with strong aesthetic instincts.

  • Someone skilled in Lightroom, Photoshop, or equivalent tools.

  • A calm, communicative team member who takes feedback well and works efficiently.

  • An adaptable and patient collaborator who brings positivity to group settings.

 What you will do:

  • Uphold TEDx brand standards and keep visual identity cohesive.

  • Align with the marketing lead and other creatives to execute campaigns.

  • Coordinate design timelines and delivery

What we are looking for

  • A visually-driven individual with a strong design portfolio and creative instincts.

  • Someone proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, or equivalent.

  • A team-oriented thinker who’s open to feedback and iteration.

  • Positive attitude, adaptable mindset, and commitment to excellence.
