Finance Lead

What you will do:

Develop detailed financial plans, including revenue projections and expenses.
Ensure there is a clear financial strategy for the event, keeping in mind potential risks and opportunities
Monitor expenditures and revenues throughout the planning process, making necessary adjustments to ensure the event remains within budget.
Apply for campus funding and manage reimbursements in a timely and organized manner to secure necessary resources.
Prepare detailed financial reports post-event to evaluate the financial performance and identify areas for improvement in future events.

What we are looking for

Proven experience in financial management, with a strong preference for experience in, event budgeting, and financial analysis.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Familiarity with basic accounting principles and proficiency in tools like Excel or Google Sheets.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to craft professional, persuasive, and clear emails when engaging with university for financial aspects.
